Hey everyone, The British pub "The Churchill NYC New York City" have opened up their upstairs room! YAY! So we've booked it for our next meetup.  Come out for our regular monthly event to meet new members and catch up with existing meetup friends over a beer.  We have the upstairs booked for our group from 7pm onwards.  Louise will be there from 6.30pm if you want to come earlier.  See you there!

We are waiting for the park permit to come through, so SAVE THE DATE.  If all goes well with the permit, this is what we have planned!

Come along for a Big Apple Brits Picnic and trip down memory lane with an old Fashioned  Sports Day thrown in! We are celebrating the start of the Olympics by having our own BAB games with prizes and MEDALS to be won!

Bring your own picnic and booze (shhhh we will have to hide this), you can also just spectate the games or take part also! (please let me know if you plan to take part so we can plan accordingly)

We have had to purchase a permit (awaiting confirmation on this) so we are also suggesting a $5 donation to help pay for that and equipment and prizes! woohoo! Everyone will also get a raffle ticket for a chance to win something if you are not keen on entering the games! 

We have requested the ROSS PINETRUM AREA which we held our 2009 picnic in! 

Nearest Subway: B & C @ 86th street & Central park West

We will try and find a spot as close to the path that runs west of the pinetrum. Look out for the Union Jacks.
